The national flag of India is horizontal with three stripes. The top stripe has a deep saffron color, the bottom stripe is dark green color and the middle stripe is white color. The ratio of the width to the length of the national flag is two to three. The center of the middle white stripe has a Chakra with 24 spokes in navy blue color. The chakra represents the charkha and resembles the Ashoka chakra.
