Composed by Rabindranath Tagore, Jana-gana-mana is the national anthem of India. It was first sung at the 1911 session of the Indian National Congress in Calcutta. It was adopted as India’s national anthem on January 24, 1950 by the Constituent Assembly of India. The playing time of the anthem is about 52 seconds.
